the week has apparently reached Friday. finally. and plans for the weekend, packed. doesnt seems like there's going to be time for ample rest.
last nite, the best part was the movie.
Angel. - Based on the book written by Elizabeth Taylor. Drama, I like. How literature everything is, the actoress, the actors, the settings, the storyline.

Angel is a fine young lady, living in a small town, full of dreams about riches, company, fame and glory. She lived with her widowed mum, and they lived above their grocery store. Angel speaks up and act like a rich young lady, and with that, she faces sarcasm & critics, dislike from the rest. They all thought " she will never be rich, she will never live in the paradise house. she's only dreaming."
Paradise House, a magnificent house lived by a very rich family. Grand, very grand. Angel, dreamed out loud, "I will be the mistress of this house one day".
Dislikes from the teacher and her classmates, Angel stopped going to school. She stayed in her room, and writes about her first story - 4books. She mailed them to publishers. The wait was unbearing for replies. A publisher in London, got back to her and decided to publish her book. That bought her to fame, like a flash for light. From there, she writes and writes. But she hides, the truth of her life since young. Angel only wants to be known from the day she started her book. Arrogance, commanding she was.
Angel met this artist, who only draws smudged paintings right on the day of the showing of her first story acted in a musical. A guy with crude words - Esmé. He sparked her interest on their first meeting of eyes. Probably, Angel feels that he's just like her when she's still in her rags and past. His sister, Nora, was a great loyal fan of hers.
After Angel bought the Paradise House, Nora paid her a visit and convinced Angel to hire her, to work and serve Angel.
Angel looked Esmé up and he sold his favourite painting to her at high price of 400 pounds. As per her request, he did a smudge paintin of her. In her chase after Esmé, her mum was very ill, and upon Angel's return, her mum went out of breathe before she can divulge the truth about Angel's birth and her father. The fact, was also that Angel's mum was a great pianist, but her talent was hidden. Her mum was definitely proud of her, of her success and talent, her will to grow strong.
To give Esmé a surprise, she launched her latest book "Hearts in Venice" and before the surprise, he already knew and stormed out, fearing that everyone will be shocked and that will bring embarrassment to him.
Needless to mentioned, Angel chased after him. Assuring him that pple will like his paintings, for her that is. She proposed to him. Angel later provided him a life of luxury, travels.
And not to mentioned, Nora knew what her brother was like. A gambler, a guy who is still involved with his Angelica (the girl he knew since young, and this girl, was the one Angel's aunt worked for at the Paradise House previously. the girl is the young daughter of the man that once owned and lived in the Paradise House, never did Angel know) Nora had warned her beforehand, not to fall for his brother, without the explanation of course, Angel wont heed. (she's a stubborn, hard-headed lady who goes for what she wants)
Apart from her stories, of daring words. Angel was a sympathetic writer, who hides her darkness and past, only wanting people to know non of those. Angel started writing again, when Esmé asked her for money. (the money was for Angelica and their son.) He just got back from war, with one leg lost. He lost confidence, and but this time, Angelica has married another gentleman.
Esmé was devasted, returned to Paradise House and hang himself in the studio Angel has given him, by the drawing of a peacock which Angel has oways wanted him to paint for him.
The loss of Esmé, brought about the greatest darkness into Angel's life. Her downfall, and Angel came to know about Angelica finally, turned very sick. Nora was stood by Angel, till Angel's death. She was the one that really loved Angel all the time.
And when Nora was asked to write a tribute about Angel. She questioned, "about the life that Angel lived, or the life that she dreamed?"

"the monster" on channel 8, relatively sad and err at the same time. a portray of motherly love, a woman who eventually turned mad due to loss of her beloved ones.
i walked home with a silent grin across my face. happy. i am startin to love shoppin alone, at your own pace, at your own liking, exploring new places (who anyone beside u complainin or blabberin what not.)
- a jap paper wind chime
- handphone decos
- a shirt
- 2 fragrances ( from marks & spencer + banana republic)
- shirt alteration
- innerwear

after all, totally beat.
the brandin workshop was sleepy. but am glad the cheese egg tarts were good. hahax. its held at the screening room. met rebecca together with adam after that, chris gotta leave to get his feet treated (hurt by reba. heels, ouch!) grab a icy cold drink, and left aft some chat. shoppin!

to have shoty red eyes is just "amazin". i might be blinking away non-stop, so much it does hurts. not becoz i see a pretty woman, or a hunk walkin past, giving me a wink. ARGH.
shoppin is not my favourite pasttime afterall. i think i like to get stuffs on ad-hoc basis, -> see its randomly, like it, try it, buy it. viola. hmm, my patience span is getting shorter. shorte.short.shor.sho.sh.s.
well, dinner was soupy noodles. and yest, had so many encounters with "cheese pple" (aka Zh
ong G
uo R
en) - to try to see it, use ur brian for once.
as follows:
- @ the stationary shop, this bitchy cheese 3 pax was goin ard sayin, " the pens in singapore, looks ugly, the file too"... and the list goes on. i almost blew my top. well, in the olden days, chinese in singapore comes from china mainly. and besides, many things here are made in china. wonderful, they jus mentioned that they are ugly. u can imagine, the mix of anger and mocking in me.
- @ the foodcourt, the cheese pple are impatient, dirty (never wash hands aft pushing rubbish into the rubbish bin, den touch the desserts stuff! wtf)
*avoid Bugis - Food Junction.*
prior to that, was at Lifespa, had the chocolate body scurb (sounds delicious, but i dont really fancy it, too sticky i guess.), seaweed hot bath, aroma massage, tone & firm hot wrap. :) all smiles. better den rottin at home, dwelling on my nasal problem. hmm.
had breakfast at LongJohn's with ryn, afterwhich she accompanied me to the doc, where i spent $52 jus for consultation and the nasal spray. :/
Sunday, May 4, 2008
i hate her. bl. she's such a **ore. when she needs me the next time, dont come beggin.
yest was shoppin at IKEA. how i wish i hav my own room, my own house. rid of all the nonsense. as much as that, am pretty satisfied what my $67 got me. 2 photo frames, a lamp, 2 laundry bin, 10 batteries and 4 light bulbs.
got home and spent a few hrs by the ironing board, phatt. and back to the day...
breakfast was good. and yea, i did miss my massage and body scrub and body bath session, i was too darn lazy, its 10am appointment and i woke only at 9 to comtemplate abt it. changed the appointment, decided headin to the market with mum was a better choice. it was. we bought a clothes hanger rail too. finally, but a lil problem with the adjustable knot, well oh well. things dont seems as good as whats shown in the pictures and descriptions, almost always.
