and today, i pulled myself out of house to go for last 2 lesson for yoga today, i am not renewing my membership. the consultant is a bloody guy lack of customer service. y would u ask someone to renew their membership at no discounted or special price, and no to mention via email! a call will probably make a difference. well, to hell with that.
i am probably switching to else where. and i am considering which one to go, or maybe i will wait abit.
and penny and i got our prize for the 1st placing.

Champagne Devaux Grande ReserveVarietal: Pinot Noir / Chardonnay Blend
Vintage: NV Colour: White Style: Sparkling
Producer: Veuve A. Devaux
Description:Founded in 1846 by the Devaux brothers, Jules and Auguste, the company was run for several decades by Madame Veuve A. Devaux, one of the select band of widows seeming to hold the key to Champagne during the nineteenth century. Augusta Devaux injected so much vitality into the company that her heirs inscribed her name on the facade of the house in Epernay to perpetuate her memory. It was in 1986 that the fifth generation of her descendants decided to entrust the future of this prestigious brand to one of the largest groups of Champagne growers in the magnificent leafy surrounds of Domaine de Villeneuve at Bar sur Seine.

was a good night chat with Vivian and Adelene at Vivo. well it seems very much that my hunch about things were never wrong. And Vivian has come a hard way till today. Smart lady.
Tim house is so cool, just like a holiday place. His sons are so cute, especially Benji. who runs around with his moo moo torchlight and "I am probably the messiest monkey around" blue tee. O-li is such a naughty boy, fake cries and a terrorist in training. The boys room is huge! 2 play areas, tons and tons of toys. And their rosy cheeks are so adorable!
And Lucie and Tim, they met at work. Happily married with the 2 cheeky boys.
Thurs thurs, dinner at Bugis. Omu rice + Cheese Mentai Tofu + Grilled Salmon + hot green tea. Just right for the day. So tired for the week!
And so met KC and headed to Shin for MV listening and a couple of colds. Chatted about what his work is all about, finally I realised what he does is damn niche in the market. So interesting. Hmm, just spoke to his ex-boss in the afternoon and his long time peer as well, equally in the niche work they do.

i have recorded the entire video of the Fireworks. however its in mp4 format so am still trying to figure out how to get it loaded. hmmm, help?!
anyway after which, we headed for movie "Meet Dave" at The Cathay. Ashton for late dinner, nice and pretty affordable. Main + 2 sides = $7.20 :) all good. the movie was pretty funny, roboticaly funny that is.
friday went yoga for the week, last class and got a ride from dad home. they just finished the french fireworks display. wed till this day was damn packed.
tues was meet-up with kc :) the carrot cake was not better den bukit timah's but well, its still quite nice.

pre-bday day was all good. relaxing, without putting much on my day's timeline for meet-ups. lunch was at Blood Type Cafe cum Restaurant. i had the black seabass main course, pretty good. dessert was yummy! they all got me the swatch watch i wanted.
was quite a rush towards the end of the evening. however, meeting the paxs were all good. and all, i tot he wont be comin initially. was quite a pleasant surprise. the food was good, the company was better. yea somehow 'we' felt funny, or he was much quieter than usual? he mentioned he feels bloated eating too fast... hmm. and he left for fren's farewell bbq, gave a quick hug. damn should give a tighter hug, shoots. lolx. or maybe not?
the rest paxs headed for the Ice Cold Beer... chatted, exchanged LC jokes and cabbed off for the night. all beaten - tired.

in between the buildings we saw sparks flying. lighted fishes and water symphony, and yes rainbow lights. The pre were the parachutes, and fighter planes doing their dances in the sky - one of which was the big fat heart, and the usual 5 planes split.
mummy and me are back in the office, the catch some glimpse of the NDP'08. The Samsung flatscreen tv didnt have the tv cable link, what a pity. I had iced apple juice + cookies & cream + lemon cream biscuits for my pre-dinner.
By 9pm, we decided its time to go to Tangs to claim the $20 Molten Brown voucher for my birthday treat - from Tangs. And there's $50 off Guess new timepieces. However, only 1 timepiece from Guess caught my eyes. I will re-consider, simply cause I saw the Swatch one, Black Flower was my fancy. - part of the fall/winter 08 collection. Nice, since Vivian asked me to choose something I want for my birthday - that is it! Initially I had wanted the Agnes B Chain which costs $75, because its dark green and white glitter! But I guess a watch is now practical. Yes, now I wear watch. Haha.
I want a black bag too, not too big not too small, not too fancy not too plain - its hard to find one. Nothing I fancy :(
We are having event coming 13 Aug and ML event at Pan Pac sometime in Sept, how cool is that! All thanks to Tim, hats off to him.
Watched Mummy 3 last night. It was good because Michelle and Jet Li was acting, the young immortal lady is such an eye catcher. The plot was only ok and somewhat too made-up.
Dinner at Shaw - Crystal Jade was nice and fulling. Grilled Cod fish, Scallops on Beancurd, Watercress soup + Thousland Island Fried Chicken. Very satisfying despite the temporary black out which doesnt bother any diners at all.
Thurs and Tue was yoga yoga! Glad I did. Coz Friday, i hit the red jackpot.

A touching story of a 50yrs old couple.... how many out there can still be so loving after all these years. And Alzheimer has to bring her further away from him... was it her or was her acting to punish him.... confused between the loss short term and long term memory, Grant finds his way to Fiona again, time and time again and again.
From lovers to strangers, strangers to lovers.
am driving the night train to finish watching at least the 2nd dvd i have rented.
watched Kite Runner earlier this afternoon, a story about Hassan a loyal servant, a loyal fren who would do anything for Amir, a rich man son. Only to earn back, the crime of stealing which he nv did, and Amir kept mum about what he saw Assef, the bully did to him.
Hassan's even close to his death in the already chaotic situation in Kabul, still hold Amir close in his heart as a dear friend. He promised Amir's dad good friend to take of their house till Amir's dad and Amir is back in Kabul, and cos of his refusal to leave the house to the Talibans, he was shot, so was his wife.
Eventually Amir went back to Kabul from his comfort place in America, to search for Sohrab to give him a family and a good life, to atone for his past doings.

The story of Friendship, Redemption, Hope and the Chance to Be Good Again...
well earlier on, headed the Jap marche at CityHall with sis and her frens to have a pre-celebration for her bday. has 2 games at the arcade, and 2 games at Superbowl. was pretty alrite. I didnt finish the cake, was fucking full. Have been having cakes alot, makes me pretty sick now!
met kc fri nite. he handed me a present, necklace from Swarovski... for my bday actually. he mentioned he will be 2 weeks on leave and will be quite busy. den again, my bday falls on a sat and we dont meet on sat anyway, except for the only 1 time i remember.
he told me i could go to dbl o with a fren as he had the invite for the Black Party for 2pax under his name, but he wont be going coz he will be busy with work, probably some proposal or writings for clients. somehow clubbin wasnt on my plate of choice lately, not with anyone in mind tat i did enjoy with.
besides i did have other plans. haha. frankly speaking, i am not a celebration kind of person. i have no idea why pple must celebrate all the time. hmm. most of the time or 99% u never get wat you want. lolx.
ok or maybe i am asking too much. but again, isnt it suppose to be happy - not asking too much in this case
the entire week was rather crazy with evening meet-ups. the Lifespa Birthday treat on friday evening was really good, on the house! ease the tiredness, damn good.
and luckily dad drove me home for at least 3days for the week, and he brought me to places for good dinner, how nice huh~ :)
